Last month’s British International Motor Show saw the launch of a brand new car, the Lotus Evora. And just like Ferrari’s California, the Lotus can not be bought yet but it’s already in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
Visitors of the Motor Show were able to drive the brand new car in a special version of the game, the Lotus is expected to be released as an update to current Prologue customers later.
Powered by a 3.5 liter V6 Toyota engine, the Lotus Evora is a rear-wheel driven, mid-engined sports car. Sales will start in 2009, each of the 2000 models produced each year will cost around 50.000 British Pounds.

Man these days cars are fully modeled in GT5 before final details/pics of the real cars come out. Either Sony is fast as hell at modeling or manufactures are supplying top secret details of cars before they hit the public. Next thing you know GT5 will start getting paid off to make cars faster then they should like mags get paid to say favorable things about cars that suck. :)
