GT5 Prologue – European Release Date

The press release of the Logitech Driving Force GT (featured in a dedicated posting) does not only include all the usual pr-blabber but also an important piece of info on Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.

The North American release date of April 17 gets confirmed and the European date can also be found. March 28 will be the day European gamers will be able to buy GT5 Prologue on Blu-Ray Disc or download it from the Playstation Store. We still dont know what the additional content will be, as those versions are rumored to feature over 60 cars and an additional track compared to the Japanese version.

iRacing has released first screenshots of Brands Hatch, the second European track to make it into their online racing simulation. The shots show the track as it's currently undergoing the development process, including the laser-scanned surface and the buildings around the track's main straight. he 3,7 kilometer Brands Hatch circuited hosted 12 Formula One Grand Prix and is well known as a touring car venue these days, hosting both the WTCC & DTM as well as the British BTCC. Image Space Incorporated and the Superleague Formula Series have released the Superleague Formula Game, bringing the 2009 SLF season to the PC.
