Gran Turismo GT Academy – Second Round Launched

Over a month ago, Sony and Nissan released the Gran Turismo 5 GT Academy demo, giving all Playstation 3 owners the chance to prove themselves in time attack mode at Indianapolis, fighting for the ultimate prize: A fully-paid racing season with Nissan in the FIA GT4 series.
The public first round of the competition is now over and the top drivers can now sign up for the national finals where the quickest drivers of each country will go head to head. If you´re among the 30 quickest drivers in your country-ranking, make sure to visit the Gran Turismo website of your country and sign-up before midnight, January 26th GMT.
The national finals will determine which drivers from Europe and Australia & New Zealand will be send to the actual GT Academy meeting at Silverstone next March. While North American racers can’t be part of the second stage of competition, the top drivers from their leader-board will be rewarded with VIP tickets to this year’s Indianapolis 500.
