Gran Turismo 5 – Update 2.11 Available

Polyphony Digital has released an update for their Gran Turismo 5 title.

Update 2.11 brings the performance points (PP) back to the values as calculated in version 2.09 as well as other changes listed below:

Changelog

  • The performance point (PP) adjustments that were made in the 2.10 update has been cancelled, and returned to the calculation method in 2.09.
  • The automatically selected rain tire type has been adjusted. Please note that this may change the normally recommended tire when entering the pit, and the pit timings of opponent cars during races.
  • Adjusted the autopilot during changing road moisture conditions.
  • Corrected an issue where the game would not boot after the 2.10 update in some cases.

To update the game to the newest version, Gran Turismo 5 owners simply have to start GT5 with their Playstation 3 connected to the internet.

    Hats off to them still updating GT5 even thou the vast majority of people stopped playing it a week after launch.
