More quality preview material from Polyphony Digital’s presence on the Consumer Electronics Show at Las Vegas is becoming available as gamerlive.tv has released two new videos.
The first shows a race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife from cockpit view as a Sony representative starts a lap in the green hell. Due to a strict 2:30 minute time limit on the demo, we shouldn’t expect videos of a full lap to be available anytime soon. The second video once again shows the sleek menu interface as the representative discusses the cars and tracks available in the demo, once again confirming that GT5 will indeed include more than 1000 cars.
Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. The title has been announced to be released in March 2010 in Japan, dates for the US & Europe have not been given.

Good to see tracks are going to have proper bumps.
Bad to see the poor AI behaviour again.

As a PC sim racer, I’m quite impressed with GT5 Prologue. There isn’t much content, but it makes up for that with polish. It runs as good as it looks. I’m looking forward to the full game.
SimBin and ISI better get cracking…

I have high hopes for GT5, but if it should ship with this AI and collision physics I will skip this game. Content isn’t everything.

I recently purchased a PS3 160 Gb just for GT5.
The AI is a big concern for sure but what really concerns me is those just 7 oponents in the track. GT4 had 6 cars only but 8 cars on the track realy sucks.
At least Im having great fun with Killzone 2 so far.

AFAIK there will be 15 AI drivers in GT5.
But 8 cars are OK too. I play Forza3 and 7 AI cars are a lot of fun, especially because the AI feels really good (almost like human opponents). These guys are no easy pray- they fight hard, make mistakes and give you a hard time overtaking them.

The Physic look same as GT4 on PS2… same amount of forward pitch under braking. and way it turn the corner…

you mean 15 opponents online! offline you can race an even broader field! 8 players is way too short and all other ps3 exclusives have 16 online and 20+ offline.
here we have someone with an amazing 6th sense! have you tried prologue or the trial version? neither are final release physics and are way better than GT4 just stop being negative save some money and get a PS3 or you always have the easy route of buying a cheap 360 and playing cheap forza!

yeah from what I read last year, the game was suppose to have 15 AI’s on track max, even shown in videos! But then again looks like they promised too much..
And I guess they need more than 13 years of development in the AI department to get things right, even GT2 had better AI than GT3/4!

they do look the same! key word LOOK and dont say hes sticking with it coz he got it right in gt3 mayeswell say because it hardly looks real, its more like laziness. anyway gt5 wont be a true sim felipe the thing is with you you’re such a stupid fanboy you think you know what your talking about but really you’re a poofnuts. GT5 is and always will be an arcade sim. Can you adjust brake bias and sway bars on the fly does it have track temperature changes?, no because its kiddy puff same as forza. anyway ill play cheap forza what are you gonna do sit there and play nothing because you cant afford both. Thats why you troll these forums because you have nothing better to do.
