Gran Turismo 5 – Toyota FT 86G at Tokio Video

Below is a video of the Gran Turismo 5 demo that was shown at the Tokyo Motor Show last year, showing the Toyota FT 86G concept on the Tokyo R246 street track.

What’s remarkable about the video is that the footage is available in ful 1080P HD resolution, allowing us to check ot the amazing details of the Tokyo track.

Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. There’s no date for either the release of the Japanese or the International versions yet.

    Wow… it looks undrivable.
Maybe the wheel isn’t setup right but it looks realy unresponsive. :weird:

  • Shmeel53

Maybe he would have driven better if he wasn’t flat-footing it most of the way around the track…

It does look quite awesome I gotta admit.
Can’t take much away from the vid physics-wise with the constant crashing – you couldnt even get away with that sort of driving in Grid

I feel like this guy has never heard of braking. And I hope they just have car damage turned off, if not then it looks like street cars can’t be damaged.
