I’m actually getting excited for Forza. Of course then I watched the promo video on Xbox Live of the drifting and cars behaving completely like cars DON’T and my interest waned again.

That’s always the danger of trying to appeal to everyone. I know that video was Turn10′s attempt to show that they didn’t forget about the forza players that would rather direct videos than race cars, however, most people don’t know that and it’s not like you can control who watches what.

Because PC racing games don’t sell anything like as well as console racing games, so no one is going to spend anything like as much developing a PC only game as they spend on a title like Gran Turismo.

Indeed, the days of PC only racing games which you can buy in your local store seem to be over.
