Gran Turismo 5 – Lucas Ordonez Nordschleife Lap

While we already have seen two videos showing a complete lap of the 16-mile Nürburgring Nordschleife in Gran Turismo 5, below is another lap around the Green Hell driven by none other than Lucas Ordonez.

The Spaniard won the first GT Academy competition held by Sony and Nissan end went on to compete in the Dubai 24 Hours as well as several FIA GT4 Championships rounds where he scored a podium finish.

Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. There’s no date for either the release of the Japanese or the International versions yet.

I hear ya. When I see this now, I wonder what’s the point. But hey, before you know it, it’ll be 2019. My grand kids are going to be soo thrilled!

Seriously though, if the dev team keeps improving on it, it should blow Forza out of the water, and that is a great game.

Fall 2010 if you got a PS3 you got lots of great games to keep you busy! This guy is driving beautifully and goes to show how well the physics are. Can’t wait for it’s release

I’ve been there and raced the track IRL. The first thing I notice is all the corners don’t look tight or long enough. But it might just be FOV setting.

    But i looks promosing.

Although not the best driving, this video with the cockpit view and other cars on track probably give a better perspective: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBkdEDze1mc

1000 cars isn’t enough. If I buy this and it doesn’t have an AMC Pacer or Gremlin, I will be livid! 60 tracks is waay too many. 10,000 cars and just Spa would be fine.
