Why make assumptions based on a fuzzy video that uses driving aids, try the GT5TT demo for yourself, afterall it’s been out for over a month.

If you do you’ll see first hand the physics are every bit as good as the best on offer from rFactor and GTR2.

I’m just throwing my 2 cents in here. I’m not attacking anything, I’m just stating what I see. As if I’m an expert… lol

It looks goods. I don’t know what kind of assists you can have, but it definitely looks like the drive has some on.

What I do like about GT and Forza is, they are both getting closer and closer to simulations. I think they have some kind of plan to get arcade racers to evolve into sim racers.

I don’t think anyone can argue about the difference between arcade racers, such as GT and Forza, and sims, such as iRacing and rFactor, especially if you have driven both types.

Sensekhmet: About the thumb position… it’s possible it’s some fad inspired by Best Motoring or some other Japanese tuning vid: one other thing is a totally peculiar method of shifting H shifter forward… like European truck and bus drivers did in the sixties

Can't edit? Forgot to add that shifting method is in the Besto Motoring videon, NOT in the game (or if it is I don't know about it).

It´s sad that the physics looks so bad indeed. I think that whenever this game comes out….It won´t be as nice to drive as say older grand turismo was..

Looks quite easy to handle and very hard to lock the wheels and crash. The car always returns to where he points it to (reminds me of dirt 2). Sure the merc is great but i doubt it is immune to the laws of physics. I hope this is due to the aids and/or arcade mode or whatever..

Thumb position? I really think they should be inside not just layed onto the wheel.
I really cant see any flow in the physics. I mean at Pflanzgarten, thats just not correct, you cant jump a bit over the hill and then brake while sliding into the corner. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think its just a smell step forwards physics-wise.
But the light-effects are simply mind-blowing and I think it still remains a must-buy

Arcade mode? I hope it is. He/She was driving through the grass without brake + hit other cars, but did’t spin.
