why are the cars so damn shiny? that’s not realistic at all, though everything else looks damn good

Agree entirely. They look absurd.

Guess you guys aren’t much at waxing a car. I bet this gets boring just as fast as previous offers. Once you’ve driven each car one time. Then there is the eight car racing. But each to his own. TDU made car collecting much more fun. Only the hitchhikers wouldn’t come home with you.

It is actually up to 16 cars, Forza 3 is limited to 8.

GT5 has 16 A.I. cars.
The latest news from the round of interviews with PD this week claim day/night is confirmed, as is rain, tyre wear and telemetry.
All cars will have damage, with different levels for different cars. Damage for NASCAR will be ‘faithful to reality’, and there will be car rollovers.

wnen it’s sitting there, sure it’s shiny, but you race it, it gets real dirty real quick

Only three (track) games I know of that make cars dirty as they race: GT3, Grid, and Forza 2.

And the girls from Baywatch always have makeup even when getting out of the water, and their boobs are too big .. pfff
GT is like a interactive car commercial, but might just lure me into buying a PS3. I’m so weak when facing a beautiful car or girl. Well here is answer (that came on the type..).

No other racing title even comes close to GT5(P) in terms of realistic looking lighting imo. Too bad they have to make everything look too damn clean.

much love and respect to GT, they always had a classy interface, smooth design. No “in your face gangster racing” like need for speed stuff lol
