Gran Turismo 5 – Comic-Con Gameplay Videos

The 2010 Comic-Con Comic Book Convention in San Diego just ended and even though not being aimed at cars, Polyphony Digital and Gran Turismo 5 had a presence at the convention.

Comic-book fans got to try the same demo that PD unveiled at the E3 Expo in June, below are two gameplay videos showing as NASCAR race in Rome and Audi R8s at Tokyo.

Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. GT5 will be one of the first six Playstation 3 games to be available in 3D. The title will be out on November 2nd in the North & Latin America, release dates for Europe and Japan have not been confirmed yet.

This is the best simulator with the worst car engine sounds …. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???????????????????????????????????????????

Yes we all know, as you keep posting it everywhere in your eccentric manner.
But nonetheless we should at least wait for footage from the final build in November with direct audio capture. If the cars still sound appalling after that, then by all means bash it for all it’s worth.

The sound system excuse will likely not go away though by diehard defendants of the glorious  GT franchise.
