I love when people talk about “Full HD” like they get all of their information from a department store commercial on TV or a videogame ad. “Native Full HD”….do you even know what you are talking about? 1920×1080 looks like crap compared to 2560×1600. Period. The end.

Btw, “HD” has nothing to do with shadowing, etc..

GT always has advertised ridiculously unrealistic car counts by including EVERY variant of a certain marque and model. You see 34 different Imprezas, 15 different Skylines, 12 different Lancers, etc., etc., and Sony counts all of them as different cars.

felipe: you like it or not those are the most realistic cars and tracks ever in sim racing when it comes to graphics. I want great physics more than anything but if it doesn’t look real then it’s not a sim it has sim physics but arcade graphics! GT5 is the first so called sim racing game ever to be truthfully a sim when it comes to graphics all other sim games including PC you can make out easily those cars are not real but GT5 can keep you easily guessing!

hypertek: you guys say the interior shots look like sh*t, thats because some of those pics, the car is passing through shadows, wait til you see the dynamic shading going on and the a-pillar shadow move around as well as all other shadows inside.. your gonna be like “dammmm!!” . Forreal I havent seen any PC sim titles pull that off yet.

DeadStar: 700 of the 1000 cars will probably be Cheap Japanese Cars, I hope Not. I would much rather have 700 European cars and the rest American and Japanese Cars.

So what? Those little cheap cars are the most fun to drive with close racing and door to door banging! From what I get you don’t like the Minis, Lupos, Abarths, Beatles, etc just because they are no Enzos, MC12s, DBR9s, etc.
I bet you don’t even own a PS3 because if you did by no means you would complain of getting over 1000 cars and all great quality in FULL HD (1080p!
Just join the party or leave the door steps and go home

I wont complain about the over 1000 cars, unfortinutly they have to hype that since console gamers are spoiled by the Forza, Grid and shift games with all the pretty cars, cockpit views etc..

I hope it has a good multiplayer system.

But I might give in and buy the damn ps3 and GT5 when it is released, GT has always been the only reason for me to buy playstation. Sadly the fun factor seemed to fade very quickly with previous versions of the game
