Gran Turismo 5 – Australia Release Date Confirmed

Two weeks after Sony revealed the European & Japanese release date for their upcoming Gran Turismo 5 title on the Gamescom Expo, the final release date void has now been filledas an Australian store date has been announced.

Racing fans down under have to wait the longest for the highly-anticipated Playstation 3 racer as Gran Turismo 5 will hit the shelves on November 4 2010, two days after the North American release and 24 hours after European and Japanese GT fans can start racing.

Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. GT5 will be one of the first six Playstation 3 games to be available in 3D. The title will be out on November 2nd in the North & Latin America, the European & Japanese release will follow a day later with Australia wrapping up the release on November 4th.
