Gran Turismo 5 – Apex Book Previews + Release Rumors

Buyers of the Gran Turismo 5 Collectors Edition will be receiving a 300-page book called “Apex” and below are the first previews of the Japanese version of the reference material.

The book will be split into 6 chapters, including info on driving techniques & tuning, the title’s photo mode as well as a detailed index of all tracks and cars included in the massive title.

- Chapter 1：Driving Techniques
- Chapter 2：Mechanism
- Chapter 3：Tuning & Settings
- Chapter 4：Photo Mode
- Chapter 5：Course Index
- Chapter 6：Car Index

In related news,  Russian websites has been spreading the news that the world-wide release of Gran Turismo 5 has been postponed to late November. This is not true, only the Russian version of Gran Turismo 5 will be postponed as all other versions are still scheduled to be out in early November as listed below.

Gran Turismo 5 will be bringing 1000 cars and over 60 tracks to the Playstation 3, including new features such as damage, weather and day/night effects. GT5 will be one of the first six Playstation 3 games to be available in 3D. The title will be out on November 2nd in the North & Latin America, the European & Japanese release will follow a day later with Australia wrapping up the release on November 4th.
