GP Bikes Alpha 7.0 – Released

PiBoSo has released a new alpha version of his GP Bikes simulation project, introducing the changes listed below.

Please make sure to start with a clean install of GP Bikes when using the new version, replays from older versions won’t work with the newest alpha.

GP Bikes is a motorcycle simulator with advanced features such as multiplayer, modding support and wet weather races.

Changelog:

NEW: send setup
NEW: split times added to records
NEW: lookback animations
NEW: paddock stand
NEW: brake automatically activated while on a slope during race pre-start
NEW: 3d marshals
FIX: rider paint in main menu
FIX: possibility to complete last lap in practice / qualify sessions
FIX: wait for disconnected riders in pre-race
FIX: disqualify in pre-race if on track during previous session
FIX: brake help forced off when “No Aids” is set
FIX: vsync off by default
FIX: reduced default mouselook sensitivity, and added possibility to adjust it
FIX: improved plugins interface
FIX: 3D pitboard

    I think that this has the potential of being the best motorcycle simulation in the world. If someone would just get behind this and fund it, I’d bet anything it would be a sensation. I mean, just look how awesome it is in alpha. Could you imagine a full game with tons of bikes, settings, a better graphics engine, and of course the awesome physics. The potential is sky high.
