FVR08 for GTR Evolution 1.4 – Released

KämpferAs has released the GTR Evolution version of FVR Team’s FVR08 mod that brings all cars and drivers of the 2008 V8 Supercar series to the simulation.

Using the Holden Commodore VE and the Ford Falcon BF, the V8 Supercars are Australia’s most popular racing series, offering exciting touring car action.

Originally made for rFactor, the mod has been carefully converted, offering lots of additional GTR Evolution functionality such as full custom skin support, animated windscreen wipers, wet tyres and working rain/dirtscreen.

    hehe, yes sir it is. Version 1.0(v1.4) GTR Evo and brings it to v1.4 multi-platform. We decided to have all mods working on the same version number so all would know which was at what stage…

    I heard great things about this mod, is it available anywhere else? I mean except at No Grip of course!

    Remember, some folks have been poorly and unfairly treated at this incredible GTR database site.

    Post GTR Evo patch 1.2.0.1 bug fix to restore missing Drivers/Teams:

    cut the FVRV8_08_Addon folder to desktop, load game, star a race in any car, quit, paste back FVRV8_08_Addon folder to Teams folder and all drivers/cars are back…

    You should have:
    VE=16
    BF=13

    Now…

    no need to reinstall, it was just a issue that some had and required the mods main folder to be removed for 1 x restart of the game… than all was good….
