So let’s see: only 1 Ferrari, no Lamborghini, perhaps that’s a lot of that TBA (we’ve already seen a LaFerrari in a leaked pic somewhere). Plenty of the TBAs can probably be deduced from IGCD: http://www.igcd.net/game.php?id=1000011365

Formula X seems to be a punt at 2018 F1 cars combined with fantasy elements: https://simracingpaddock.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/vlcsnap-2017-06-08-11h49m19s922.png

“only 1 Ferrari, no Lamborghini, perhaps that’s a lot of that TBA ”

      You can bet on that.

    • Richard Hessels

Looks more like a fantasy car with some real world element. As in 4 wheels. Looks a bit messy

    • Penteano

There are new regs for F1 next year?

      • VirtuaIceMan

I meant the shield glass screen on the nose

  • Noah Themins

Looks like a little something for everyone and glad to see a good collection or road cars. Will love the GTO and Group 5 as well. I think you just sold me.

  • Dab o’ Oppo

I’m sad there doesn’t seem to be a Mazda license except for the Radbull, unless they slot into the TBAs somewhere. An RX792 GTP would be superb. I’m also a little disappointed to not see the Caper stock car. I like stock cars of that sort of vintage and it was kinda fun to drive in PC1. Ariels seem to be gone too. Finally, the super kart seems conspicuously absent as well.

OK disappointments out of the way, its cool to see actual LMP3 cars and the club-level protos moved into an expanded track-day car category. In general its nice to see most groups more fully fleshed out with fewer stand-alone cars.

I’m curious what they mean by “endurance” versions of several of the GT3 cars. And are we starting in the direction of Forza/Gran Turismo “80 versions of the GTR, just with slight tweaks and a model year apart” with the 3 versions of the Conti GT3?

  • RapidRefund

I still think there could be one massive platform with collaboration from all the major developers to create the most complete virtual motor sports platform ever created. While this is a nice list I want it all like the beasts of the early 1900’s and rarities like Arnolt Bristol, Cunningham, and Fraser Nash.

    • HardRock

A jointly developed and widely available repository of every track and car ever is something I’ve been dreaming about as well. Sadly, with the way licensing usually works out, this will likely remain a dream, not to mention what an enormous task it would be keeping everything up-to-date for newly developed game engines would be.

  • Patrik Marek

    that’s a proper lineup! 🙂

Did they drop Toyta LMP1 ? and no Porsche LMP1 ?.. perhaps still not the final final list 🙂

glad to see so many Nissans

    • Bakkster

I really like the way pCARS went to fill out classes of car when they could. It really helps it play a lot more realistically, compared to GT/Forza where having a Ferrari track car vs souped up Civic vs race spec Saleen F-150 truck was (while sometimes fun) a bit silly.

Title says ‘full’ list rather than final, and I think that’s a reasonable way to portray it. We know 95% of the cars, and for the remainders we know which classes they will fit into.

  • Agony

Can I ask ? they say that have improved ffb on pc2 is that true ? And if it is why is this happening? if it was ok on pc1 ?

    • Bullet66

Same reason iRacing was “the best, most realistic” yet they revise their tire model every other year.

    • HardRock

Regarding the FFB, what SMS was working on firstly from what I read is making the out of the box experience better with all wheels, so you have to do less fiddling when you boot up the sim. Secondly, they created a simplified FFB setup screen, where you can make changes to settings you are already familiar with from other sims. The many advanced settings from PC1 are still available however, behind what I imagine are multiple confirmatory prompts, asking if you are Slightly Mad enough to see them. 🙂

      • Marcel

Oh i really hope that’s not the case. If ffb will be the same and just the settings change would be a shame

      • HardRock

Why? When properly set up (nowadays in about 5 minutes with the help of community guides), pCARS’ FFB is excellent. An intuitive to setup screen was the main thing it missed in my opinion. Some other refinements are most likely coming as well, in terms of telling you what the car is doing it was bang on.

      • Marcel

Because I and a lot of others don’t like the FFB of PC1 at all

      • HardRock

        Fair enough.

  • OneCarlos

The IndyCars are not a Open Wheel?

    • HardRock

They obviously are, just look at them. 🙂

I assume they are mentioned separately because they are used in different series altogether and people generally don’t expect them to be mixed with other open wheelers.

  • 2Air

i also really hope there’s more than 1 ferarri.
    Hopefully in the dlc’s

    • wicken

The next cars reveals will be from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Toyota so don’t worry about it.

  • Francesco Kasta

Impressive but… no awesome stock cars from the ’90s this time around?

  • fernando sobroza

There will be a demo? Maybe the best car/track combination you have or the 1977 LOTUS TYPE 78 on Long Beach or Hockenheim?
