International Pro-Modding has released a new preview video of their FSONE Formula One 2009 mod for rFactor, showing us a complete lap in the Red Bull RB5 at Bahrain.
Designed by Adrian Newey, the RB5 is powered by a Renault V8 engine and helped drivers Sebastian Vettel & Mark Webber to stay in the championship hunt following several victories.
Made by International Pro-Modding, FSONE 2009 will include all cars and drivers of last year’s Formula One season which introduced a whole lot of changes to the world championship.

The car looks fantastic and it seems to move around well. The only thing I think could be better is the off throttle sounds, the change is so abrupt its almost like an off switch.
I have high hopes for FSone 2009 as it will likely be our league car next season.

^^^^^ yep, I second that question. That looks a lot better than the Bahrein version I have in my rFactor. What version track and textures are they driving on?

For the guys asking about the track and the mod’s release, this is what I understood from their forum:
The track will NOT be released. They didn’t give a reason.
on the 11th (6 days ago), they said we’d have to wait “at least one week” for the release. Yesterday Codex said (he wasn’t very clear, so I may have misunderstood) that all that’s left is to do the gloves for the moving arms/hands of 5 of the teams.
So, I’m guessing it should be released in the coming days/weeks :)

I should note that the reason they won’t release the track is probably because they didn’t ask for CTDP’s permission to modify the track. But this is just me guessing, don’t take it as gospel.

nice previews lately make me wanna drive those fuckers right know
and for the track: the layout was used first time in 06 for the 24h of bahrain and you can choose that but sadly it’s the old gp course. hope ctdp will bring the update since the track is still beta.

Great job, they are among the best, but, I’m comparing it right now with an onboard and the car modeling can be improved, especially the shapes on the front wing and the position of the camera.
