FSONE 2007 1.0 – Released

Codex and Kikoni have released the FSONE 2007 mod for rFactor, bringing the full 2007 Formula One season to rFactor.

The mod includes all cars and drivers of the 2007 Formula One season along with a Mercedes Benz safety car. Think you have what it takes to become Formula One champion? Then give it a try with the second F1 2007 mod for rFactor!

    I have enjoyed this release so far, no problems with it, nice models but nothing jaw dropping. the physics of the 2007 mod is great, the 2008 physics are crap tho! but its an 07 mod so dunno why they bothered! I love the sounds, much better than the rfactor sounds other mods use. Well done FSone team!
    Shame the MMG ‘leaders’ are slating it on RFC n using the comments to hype there own effort n now seem to blame Codex for MMG v1 errors??? Very unprofessional & rather childish of them!

    (not that I hate MMG, I look forward to there new V2 n have played V1 loads so don’t go off on one please)

    Not the best of mods and a bit of a let down. Ah shame. Guess i have to continue waiting for CTDP06 which will blow everything else out of the water.
    Physics are mediorce. Cars obviously not as good as MMG/CTDP. Sounds i am not a fan of.
    The personal “beef” between the yanden/Phil and Codex wasn’t the best thing to post on the rFc page and should have been saved for private. Yanden/Phil weren’t really professional in that respect.

    MMG 2007 is way better than this crap mod. Models look way of, tires are to big, cockpits are ugly… just some facts..

    I guess that F1RFT2008 is still the best F1 at the moment. Not at least because it has up to date cars/drivers.

    Dude101 if you’re referring to me then you’re opinion is quite misplaced.
    I am good friend with Codex, had the mod hours before it was released because I was impatient to try it and asked for it. I have enjoyed it since. Its not perfect but MMG wasn’t either (but they’re having another shot at that).
    But this fanboy term gets thrown around all too easily these days and it directed at anyone who might have a differing opinion to theirs.

    I know what it is. Some people with a limited mentality think that because someone (say me for example) is affiliated with another group that I would be incapable or liking a rival mod. Oh so wrong.
    I look forward to FSOne07 as much as CTDP06 which is as much as MMG PE V2.0.

    I want to try them all. Im just appreciative of all the hard work that all these people put in for free regardless of the results.

    NoOne: type something worthwhile will ya ? Ask your parents for help if you have to.

    no1: are you just sad because no one is kissing your ass ? Is that the kind of thing you’re into ?

    Don’t worry about its a generic name, and a spin of Room101.
    After trying it a bit more it seems slightly better. Needs a lot of work though. Car seems underpowered. At every track i seem 5-8 seconds off the pace its crazy.
    Admittedly some tracks are woefully inaccurate [ISI Silverstone for example] but the GTL tracks and CTDP Bahrain are always a good barometer of Performance and i cant even get in the same ballpark as real laptimes.

    Where? Iv bin round the track, its accurate. Yes they are slower on tracks iv tried, AI at 100% average 3sec, me 5sec. Im 1 second slower in these than MMG, but im enjoying these more at the mo!

    I think this mod was carefully made and it deserves respect for that. You can tell that by the different skins and addons (spoilers for example) that were used along the season, the test driver option etc. Physics, yes, the cars seem too slow, despite being grippy, truth is I cant make make lap times close to the real ones (maybe i am too slow lol). I like the models. But the issue for me is how skins and cockpit look like. Dont like them at all, they dont help the immersion. I dont know the word exactly but everything looks too flat for me. Improving this part would be the greatest quality step over in my opinion. Thats it.

    Simbin tracks are the most accurate, but ISI Silverstone and Brianza are spot on for me.

    Look at what rFactor is becoming… the very thing it was based on destroying itself? rFactor has been one of the most incredible things in my life, and even if I don’t race it all the time anymore seeing this doesn’t make me happy.
