Even though only a handful of readers will be lucky enough to own one of FREX GP’s professional-grade sim racing hardware pieces, here’s great news for those who do as new drivers for their hardware are now available.
The new drivers extend the compatability of the SimConBASE to Microsoft’s latest Windows 7 64bit operating system. The SimConBASE serves as hub for all FREX hardware, the new drivers and more info on FREX’s very impressive products can be found here.

Jessica, Darin & Shaun of InsideSimRacing.tv were recently joined by Image Space Incorporated's Gjon Camaj who visited the guys for an interview in an upcoming SRT episode. About a year ago, Team NLC announced a sucessor to their popular VLN 2005 mod for rFactor, planning to bring the 2009 season of Germany's popular racing series to the simulation. As promised, Codemasters have just released the first of their developer diary videos, introducing us to some of their staff and showing off first-ever moving footage of F1 2010 for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. Even though the track was slowed down with two chicanes during the 80s, speeds on the track remained very high thanks to the 1.5 kilometer main straght - The longest in motorsports. [nggallery ...

I’m thinking of getting the Simwheel, but I’ve been waiting for some time to pass to let Frex work out the bugs, if any. Do any of you here have this wheel? Any issues with them?
