    Love this cars :D

Most of these are copy ‘n’ pasted from FM3, like most of FM4′s content lol

They are actually remodelled thanks to FM4′s higher polygon count, and retextured thanks to the higher resolution, so not simply copy-pasted (otherwise they’d look about as good as the non-premium GT5 cars!).  They also have a completely different handling model, and the sounds are recorded in a different way, making them even closer to the real thing (I drove the 962c at the Old Mulsanne last night and it was amazing – yay Group C!).

Would you prefer that all of the good cars/tracks from FM1-3 were left out of 4 “because they’ve been done before”??????

  • pez2k .

There’s actually more content that there appears to be too, the Carrera RS for example can be converted to a 911S or 911R shell. There’s even a 964 hidden in the upgrades for another car.

Also, contrary to my expectations, they have actually fixed the 962 physics errors at last. What seemed to be quite an underwhelming pack has in fact turned out to be rather well done.

I hadn’t noticed that about the Carrera – I’ll have to check that out.  Have to agree about the 962′s handling being off in FM3, but give the FM4 version a try at the Nordschleife – it handles very well, and the sensation of the car going light over the crests is incredible!

Great to see Porsche back in Forza Motorsport. I downloaded the pack and spent my last few credits on a 911 GT2 and the 959

Do you know about the workaround to make turbocharged engines N/A? This could be used to add a few more car variations I think

I didn’t realise Porsche’s gone carbon fibre with their production cars.

  • pez2k .

Only the 930 can be ‘turbo glitched’ sadly, since it’s the only turbo car with an aspiration conversion. You do end up with a pretty decent class C car though.

man that ss looks really nice. makes me want to buy a xbox.  how many of the american lemans tracks are in the forza game?

  • http://twitter.com/StarFoXySxv550 StarFoXySxv550

Past and present tracks (according to wiki) include

    Infineon
    Laguna
    Nurbergring
    Road America
    Road Atlanta
    Sebring
    Silverstone

So, a few of the good ones are missing for sure at the moment. But as always with Forza there’s always the chance for DLC. *Rolls dice for lime rock and either of the current street circuits, or both :)*

I think this track list is now fully up-to-date if I’m not mistaken: http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/Tracks/TrackList.aspx all the icons are clickable
…not sure if the car list is up-to-date as it’s ever growing: http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/Cars/ManufacturerList.aspx

Pex2k please explain how to mod these cars?
    Thanks!

  • pez2k .

They’re just under bodykits, the ‘rear wing’ upgrades on the Carrera RS actually replace most of the bodyshell instead, then you can change the bumpers to match.
