So this is going to be forza 2.5? (the same as forza3 was actually forza 2.25)

Those cars look good , but I bet they wont look even close to that good in the game. They are showing those cars like that to make people think that it will be a massive upgrade graphically from Forza 3. I just hope they fix the over sensitive steering. It would be nice to see this or GT on the PC because thats all thats missing from the PC now. A car collectors game.

I think you can tell from the dodgy reflections and jaggies that these are in-game graphics. Bullshopped graphics are usually very photorealistic (think Forza 3 or GT5 publicity “screenshots”). I wouldn’t be surprised if this was taken in-game.

Have you been to an opticians lately? Ive zoomed in on the images 400% and I dont see any jaggies.

16 driver races is a big update. The old 8 driver limit just wasn’t doing it for me.

I’m probably going to buy it once the Special Edition with $100 worth of DLC goes on sale, 6 months after initial release ;)

@ Alexey : LOL Yes it took all of four hours to right click the image to open in a new tab and use Image Zoom to zoom in on the picture 400%. I just looked at the obvious areas tha would have jaggies and saw none what so ever.

I was being sarcastic by the way. It took less than a minute to look for zaggies with the image zoomed in.

Hahaha, fair enough then! It appeared to me as though there were jaggies on the window trim of the Subaru, on closer inspection I am wrong!

I’m generally looking forward to the big reveal of Forza4 at e3, as I am of other games too (read:BF3) if just to see how much more they they make that archaic console do.
The optimization must be so extreme by now, I hope the industry can at least past on what they’ve learnt into the next gen and more importantly, the PC ports -which for usual reasons, never get any special treatment.

Forget the graphics. The most worrying thing on the box art is that it says “Better with Kinect Sensor”. Surely that should be “Better with a Fanatec Wheel”. If they mess up the game by ignoring those of us who want a more realistic driving experience, then I will never forgive them for it.

Awesome visuals, but what I have always disliked about Forza is that it looks like the cars have suspension and springs made from solid diamond rods, or that the cars are hanging from invisible wires and barely touch the ground. That or they all weigh 50 kilos.

if yo get into F3 stabiz you would see the suspension moves.. and quite alot, even chasis twist occurs. unfortunatly when stationary in menus your observation is quiet valid. But to say that i have noticed the same issue with the GT series cars look disconected from the road.

Oh well luckly if we want a sim, we always have iracing.. At the end of the day tho if i want a console semi sim i take forza over gt anyday.

Here’s a decent video demonstrating Forza suspension, excuse it being a drift video but those seem to the guys that put the most effort into their video editing. The good stuff comes from the muscle cars and after the end credits if you cant bear to watch the whole thing.

I’d love to see a Stabiz FM movie! It’s a shame the editing tools are so limited and hard to work with, without a capture card and extra “camera cars” it’s a long an drawn out effort

All Microsoft platinum editions release 12 months after the original release date, FM4 will be no different. Some people like to buy that new BMW M5 just as it rolls into the showroom, others like to wait until the dealer “clearance discounts” just before the new model releases and the car isn’t as prestigious, so I can see where you’re coming from.

I was more referring to the fancy awesome DLC that gets released for $10 11 months in, then gets included for free in the Platinum Hits version a month later. But yeah, I’m going to want the DLC, so I can wait to get it for cheap :)

Is it just me or does the perspective of the background image doesn´t fit the cars´perspective?
