Forza Motorsport 3 – Two New Download Packs Announced

Turn 10, creators of Forza Motorsport 3, have announced two new content download packs for their Xbox 360 driving title coming up later this year, made in co-operation with the car website Jalopnik.com.

The first Jalopnik-pack will be released in March, containing ten cars from 2009 & 2010, hand-picked by the Jalopnik editors. The second pack will be coming up later this summer, containing the ten most popular vintage cars chosen by the Jalopnik readers. Readers can vote from a pool of 120 possible cars, the ten most popular will be included in the pack, provided that Turn 10 can track down a real-life example of each car to scan.

The first two rounds of voting have already passed, the third voting round is now in progress. Head over to Jalopnik and make sure your favorite classic will be included.

NEW TRACKS PLEEEEEAAASEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( Not interested in new cars … waste of money )

  • hoboracer

Agreed. I’d rather have 1 car and 10 tracks than 10 cars and 1 track.

But the Sierra RS500 and Escort Cosworth are a must! :sd:

  • hoboracer

The Cosworth in Shift is buttloads of fun on the crazy 8 track. :sd:

Great to get the forza fans involved. Good marketing move, something I think polyphony shows no interests in. :sad2:

Cars, cars, and more cars. Please give us a track pack!! :weird:

Track pack is much more complicated, I guess, but I would pay for it !!!

I´m hopefull that Turn 10 will release one or two tracks down the road, I don’t think we´ll be getting more than that though.

Creating a track is much more complicated and time consuming than scanning a single car and getting it in game. The staff has to fly over, take refrence material and then start the modelling process.

So no one should expect a pack that brings like 4-5 new tracks, that won’t be happening.

I agree but … maybe, maybe the have READY tracks just in case of emergency
