Forza Motorsport 3 – New Drift Trailer + Competition

Turn 10 has released a new trailer of their upcoming Forza Motorsport 3 title for Xbox 360, showing some fast-paced drifting action.

Forza Motorsport 3 will include 400 cars and 100 tracks and is due to hit the shelves on October 22nd. A demo of Forza is available since Thursday on Xbox Live, letting players try out several cars and one track.

    The speed is correct but something about the car movement is off, maybe, or super stiff suspension. Also there is no opposite lock being applyed on nearly all the corners. :neutral:

    The demo is causing quite a number of complaints over at turn 10′s forum. The major one being criticism of the graphics, the game features much lower poly models than those used in screen shots and within the games interface. Turn10 responded by saying the demo is from an older build, while that is certainly possible, the final print has already gone gold in preparation for distribution, and one would expect them to release a build fairly representative of the full product.

    I was underwhelmed with the graphics and handling, however there is no opportunity to change the vehicle setups, so I guess they could have an idiot-proof setup in place for the demo cars.

    a demo should be from final game code, it should demonstrate how the final game will be like ffs!

    Again I’ll say it, all the guys complaining about the demo. They didn’t have to give us any demo at all. I was just thrilled to see a little glimps of what the final game is going to be like. I am happy with the demo. It shows off some cars, the 60FPS graphics and a cool fantasy track. What more do you guys want from a demo really.

    That said, that drift video is video game porn haha. I can’t get enough of that video, makes me even more excited.
