Arnold Carter Wong:
Go over the edges on the hood and the front chrome grill, also the area in front of the door.

Still don't see it. Maybe the strakes of the grill are a little off. Then what edges on the hood? And what area in front of the door? The extended part of the fender with the starting number on it?

Looks like the version they drove at Round 9 in 2008.

Well IF these images have been Photoshopped then its only the backgrounds. The cars look amazing.

Here it is in motion: http://www.gamersyde.com/stream_11582_en.html
Filmed with HD camera at 60fps. Nothing special IMO.

The SC430 is just so inaccurate, so many details on the car are wrong or either missed. Same for the R390. I really think Turn 10 should hire some better modelers to model the cars.

What is wrong with the SC430 Arnold?

Looks fine to me. Maybe the color of the head light mask isn't perfect.

Even if some details is missing, I think this game will be awesome! But if GT5 will have better cardamage, i think GT5 will be better. Anyway, I will buy this game even if GT5 looks better, just becuse I liked Forza 2 a lot! As simulators, i don't think these games will be good compared to SimBins games. It's more "just for fun" games.

zudthespud: Give it a break Arnold, it isn’t that bad. Most people don’t care about every little detail.

I’ve you (Dan/Turn10) go out in every interview talking about being perfectionists and through how much trouble you go to create perfect tracks and cars, you are setting yourself up to be hold accountable ;)

Screens from “Photomode” do look really good (draw distance is impressive), hope the gameplay (look) will also be better than in F2 and I might even be tempted to give it a go.

I want more than 8 cars dammit. Also if that Nissan R35 GT-R doesn't have a proper damage model and can't roll in GT 5 than it's just a waste of disk space. I just know one of Kaz or Microsoft's flunkies read these comments, so make it happen!

F1Racer:
Well IF these images have been Photoshopped then its only the backgrounds. The cars look amazing.
Sold my XBox360 Elite earlier this year. This might tempt me to get another standard one.
So what wheels can you plug in an XBox ?
GT5 on the PS3 is tempting too (not least because I can use my Logitech GT Pro wheel) but Im in no rush to get a console again. I`ll decide later in the year I think.

These are photomode screenshot. As good as FM3 will be, it's still only on a console and unless 360 can suddenly a 8 times Full Scaled Anti-Aliasing, but for now it will look closer to this: http://ve3dmedia.ign.com/images/04/86/48669_orig.jpg

On the 360 you have less option than you would with the PC ad the PS3 (the PS3 can run almost all the PC wheels). The best one for the 360 will be the hard to get Fanatec 911 GT3 or MS Wireless Wheel. The latter is strictly a last resort thing.

The fact that Forza 3 will be without one of the most important japanese car in the last few years, the Nissan R35 GT-R (Godzilla) sort of make this list japanese cars seem like an afterthought. I understand the reason- supposedly Nissan doesn't want their GTR to flip over although my suspicion runs deeper than that and has very much to do with Nissan and Polyphony being BFF- but it's still going to be sorely missed. Imagine not being able to do a GTR vs Porsche 911 GT3 duel at the Nordschliefe. Well, at least there's the JGTC version although racing 8 cars in 300km race is kinda sad. 16 would at least cover the GT500 starting grid and you need close to 30 to replicate the GT300 grid.

It's not outdated hardware. It's the detail of the vehicles. Sure, they could lower the detail, but they'd rather have pretty cars. And the fact is over short races, that's a perfectly fine number of cars.

Starting to be less and less enthused about this. When I got my Xbox I was excited, but then the E3 presentation left me thinking "Oh dear" (the annoying prick they had hosting it didn't help), and now it just seems to be an endless stream of photoshopped images.

Finding myself caring less and less about Forza.
