Forza Motorsport 3 – GamesCom Previews

Following the new video trailer released earlier today, Turn 10 has released twenty-four new Forza Motorsport 3 previews right in time for the GamesCom expo in Cologne.

The shots show various road and race cars from various angles, including the 2008 Audi A4 DTM,  the BMW M3 E92 GT2, the Corvette ZR1, the Lamborghini Reventon and others.

Forza Motorsport 3 will bring over 400 cars and 100 tracks to the Xbox 360, the third installment of the Forza series will be released in October.

    Is it just me or FM3 cars look so plastic? I thought “Plastic Cars” was a joke but it’s real .. I mean look at these cars.. they are very detailed but looks plastic-like .. I dunno but it seems color correction / lighting is bad or something ?

    I think it’s just their photoshopping that’s making everything look so plasticcy (it’s a word!). In gameplay videos the game looks a little rougher (and in my mind, better). I guess plastic sells to the masses.

    the car-mapping looks very plasticy indeed but the overal shape of the cars is impressive.
