Forza Motorsport 3 – Collectors Edition Previews

While even the regular version of Forza Motorsport 3 will include over 400 cars and over 100 tracks, gamers can get an extra dose of racing by ordering the Limited Collectors Edition of the Xbox 360 title.

The LCE is exclusive sold at Gamestop in the US and does not just include VIP membership to the Forza community but a bunch of exciting sports cars buyers of the regular edition will miss:

* 2009 Aston Martin DBS
* 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
* 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia
* 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera
* 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997)

Furthermore, the LCE will contain a bunch of cars hand-picked and tuned by the Turn10 staff:

* Audi R8 5.2 FSI Quattro (
* Acura NSX (Forza Motorsport Cover Car)
* Nissan Fairlady (Forza Motorsport 2 Cover Car)
* Aston Martin DB9 (Forza Motorsport 2 European Cover Car)
* 2008 Dodge Charger Stock Car (with Xbox 360 livery)

The third installment of the Forza series will be released on October 23rd, all pre-order customers will also be able to download the custom-skinned Audi R8 you can check out below.

    This group of screenshots really aren’t very flattering.

    From the crappy orange disc brakes in the 2nd pic to the terrible lighting on the rear of the F430 in the 3rd pic, these just don’t look nearly as polished/touched up. Course textures/models seem low, especially in the 6th picture. The underside/bottom of the R8 looks sort of strange in the last 4 pictures as well.

    Even if that is supposed to be an N24, it still seems really high.

    Not if it’s the PC version of SHIFT. I think that ‘s one of the advantage SHIFT has over Forza or Gran Turismo since the two are limited to console(s)- the PC version will not only have a much higher FPS (of course depending on your PC and you GFX card) but you’ll also get a much better texture and better Anti-Aliasing. Not to mention better wheel support.

    They have several FM3 videos in 1280×720 at 60fps. The game looks nothing like this photomode screens IMO.

    Nobody has even seen GT 5 yet. That cgi movie doesn’t count either. Also I’ll buy the Forza 3 LE if it comes in a tin. I’m a sucker for those things.

    I have seen GT5 in fact I was playing it yesterday (its called GT5p). Oh and that CGi trailer was ALL in engine, with GT5′s tech. The story was on the site a couple of weeks ago.

    Sodapop I was refering to GT5 Prologue.. and the graphics look better, but what the hell I dont have a console and I dont want to so for me its the same XD

    Okay that I can agree with. Supposedly GT 5 itself will have an updated graphics engine, damage, better online, better physics, and please your wife too according to the fangirls who have only “played” the CGI movie.
