Gametrailers.com has a new interview with Turn 10’s John Wendl who shares some info about the assists available in their upcoming Forza Motorsport 3 title for Xbox 360.
Even though Turn 10 promises a realistic racing experience thanks to Forza’s fairly powerful physics engine, the game will come with a variety of assists that allow mainstream gamers instant access. In its extremest form, Forza 3 can be driven without ever getting off the throttle as the game can take care of any braking, leaving the player with nothing left to do but to turn the car.
Forza Motorsport 3 will bring over 400 cars and 100 tracks to the Xbox 360, the third installment of the Forza series will be released in October.

LOL auto brakes! Just steer into a corner and forget it took no skill.
Even though the game is aimed at 8 year old’s (he said it himself) I think it’s pretty retarded of them to think even the concept of braking is outside the mental capacity of some people. Children below the age of 8 learn to use brakes when riding their first bike, now they’re telling all of those children they won’t have to worry about braking anymore because somebody else will do it for you!
How utterly stupid, just use a big red brake sign if you want to warn about corner entry speed, jeez!

F12002 had the same feature if you turned the Brake Assist up to full. It’s a good thing, should bring more people into the hobby.
