Formula Truck – Release Delayed

Reiza Studios announced a slight release delay of their Formula Truck title that was originally planned to be out in late January.

Even though the delay won’t be significant, Reiza is offering all pre-order customers the chance to cancel their order if they wish so – An offer most people will probably pass up on!

Folks, as you might have noticed we’ve blown the prediction of releasing Formula Truck by the end of january, despite our best efforts. There are just a few remaining details and this should not be a big delay. In any case we apologise specially to those who have made their pre-purchase, and make it clear that you have the option to cancel it at any time until actual release, if you so prefer.

The title will include all trucks that competed in the 2012 Formula Truck Series season, racing on ten different tracks.

The Brazilian Formula Truck Series features 1200hp racing trucks from manufacturers such as VW, Mercedes-Benz, Iveco, Scania, Ford & Volvo. The series races exclusively in South America with most rounds in Brazil and one in Argentina.

    Is there a single sim that doesn’t get delayed with regularity?

    Personally, I prefer a delay to the “release now and patch it later” approach. I much rather get something that works out of the box.

    Agree. Giving out release dates, even approximate, is just unwise. People get all tinggly and picky when they break the date.. :P

    This one is worth waiting for, I guess though. Reiza has done impressive things with the gmotor.

    Increased demand for improvements and also the increased working processes and advanced technologies make it harder to estimate a correct release date.

    I agree, I also prefer a better optimized, but delayed title to the patch-orgy of some games.

    I agree completely. I probably won’t buy it myself but in no way is that to put it down, it’s just I haven’t the budget now. You guys have worked hard and may all the success you deserve come when it’s released.

    And likewise, I don’t have the time for even much time in one sim :( But yes, better releases from everyone (and Reiza are certainly up there) set the standards higher, which is a win for us all.
