Wow for 30.000 it would be nice for the car to look ANYTHING like the freaking real life version. This is possibly the biggest waste of money of all time but hey, if you got 30k going spare for a race simulator you probs dont care about wasting it.

in reality, when you actually think about it – this device is pretty rubbish.

1. Whats the point of a whole car when you only see the front half of it – surely thats enough? There is no benefit to having the entire car.

2. Whats with a tiny screen? Haven’t these guys looked at some of the simulators the F1 teams use? the standard at minimum is to have 3 TFT screens to fill your peripheral, and for something of high quality ideally you want 3 projectors on a curved wraparound screen, like the Williams F1 simulator.

this is rubbish.

Such a big simulator with such a little screen???
Spending a enormous amount of money to make everything work.
There was probably no money left to put a big widescreen or triple screen setup on it?

ive seen this on youtube a year or so ago.. it would be a great novelty or amusement, you could charge people like a few bucks to race on it, or even have a few of them, all Lan together, and do a racing game cafe open to parties etc.. that would be cool. Just dont know if the general public would be into them.. but maybe a racing bar/cafe with a few of these would be sweet.. Might not work in teh USA unless its nascar though =(
