The Vermin Design Team has started a new rFactor project, bringing us a historic open-wheel series, Formula 5000.
The Formula 5000 was designed as a low-cost series for various cars not fitting into any particular formula. Manufacturers included notable names such as McLaren, Lola and Lotus, the cars were powered by engines up to five litre capacity (hence the name).
Vermin’s mod will focus on the 1973 European championship, F5000 cars were also popular in the United States and Australia.

Team LMT has released their first ever public mod for rFactor, bringing Ferrari's F60 Formula One car and the 2009 version of the Singapore Grand Prix to the simulation. Enduracers have released a first batch of previews of the upcoming Service Pack 1 for their popular Endurance Series mod for rFactor. With all these identikit spec single seater formulas, you’d think someone would try and stand out from the crowd with a state of the art single seater and stock block road car engines.
