Formula 5000 – Previews

The Vermin Design Team has started a new rFactor project, bringing us a historic open-wheel series, Formula 5000.

The Formula 5000 was designed as a low-cost series for various cars not fitting into any particular formula. Manufacturers included notable names such as McLaren, Lola and Lotus, the cars were powered by engines up to five litre capacity (hence the name).

Vermin’s mod will focus on the 1973 European championship, F5000 cars were also popular in the United States and Australia.

    With all these identikit spec single seater formulas, you’d think someone would try and stand out from the crowd with a state of the art single seater and stock block road car engines.
