The Vermin Design Team has released a new beta of their Formula 5000 mod for rFactor, letting us try several cars of the historic American Formula series.
The beta includes the Chevron B24, Mcrea GM1 and Trojan T101 cars, the update fixes some graphical glitches and brings some physic changes.
The Formula 5000 was designed as a low-cost series for various cars not fitting into any particular formula. Manufacturers included notable names such as McLaren, Lola and Lotus, the cars were powered by engines up to five litre capacity (hence the name).

If this is the same version I allready have on my HDD for half year or so now, it’s really good! Cars slide wonderfully and are tons of fun to drive just above their limit.
