Ford GT for GTR2 – New Previews

Merlin75 is working on a scratch-made version of the Ford GT, bringing both the GT3 and GT 1 versions to the simulation.

Recently, Merlin has finished the painting templates for both cars and busy painters have already made some good progress on painting the first liveries as the previews below show.

Built by Matech, the Ford GT is racing in two different classes. The GT3 version of the car made it’s debut in the 2006 FIA GT3 Championship season, a GT1 version for the FIA GT championship followed 2008 .

I’m a bit confused, three of the six screenshots show the Doran GT2 Ford GT, which was not built by Matech. Is that the Robertson paint scheme on the GT3 model?

No, that is the Robertson Livery on the Doran GT2 Model.

Well then the Robertson skin is on a fictional model as niether the Matech GT3 nor GT1 have flared arch’s like that model, only the Doran GT2 does.
