First Forza Motorsport 3 Infos Leaked

Posted on June 17th, 2008 in

Ever since the Xbox360 has been released, Microsoft has rapidly making up ground on Sony’s Playstation franchise. While the Xbox has plenty of exclusive titles, Sony still has a major selling point on their side: Gran Turismo.

It looks like if the Xbox360 may close that gap even further, at least if you believe leaked informations regarding the new version of Forza Motorsport, the Xbox’s GT equivalent made by Turn 10. Originally used in a consumer survey, several unconfirmed bits of info on the new Forza title have surfaced across the internet.

According to those, the newest Forza title will include 400 cars and 100 tracks which will have to be split over two discs. While those numbers sure are impressive and meet the expected content in Grand Turismo 5, it’s unclear whether or not the game will include that much content.

Additionally, Turn 10 and Microsoft are planning to extensevly expand the use of downloadable content as well as the introducion of a VIP-membership program. The full list of information can be found here, keep in mind that all this is completely unconfirmed.

They need to support more wheels before they can get any interest out of me.

Yes, they have to change that idiotic decision to not support Logi’s wheels.

And there have to be cockpit-view, otherwise F3 will be rubbish.

Its not Turn 10’s problem regarding the wheels. Its Microsofts!

Also 2 discs is bs and just would make it complicated and boring cos u would have to switch the disks to use a certain track.

I think we all realize it is MS’s problem and not T10’s but the game is sold under the MS name so until they stop being stubborn and support DirectInput devices then Forza will suck. MS kind of shafted their customers buy creating a half ass wheel and then not giving people the choice to buy other wheels. So not only would I never buy their wheel but not buy the wheel, game or system. The original Xbox is more useful to me due to XBMC (I have three of them). I don’t play games anyways and right now all the Xbox360 offers is “games”. :)

no Forza is published by Microsoft, not made under their name

I didn’t say “made” under the MS name. You know what I am saying. Your missing the point or just want to argue. Let me break it down a little for you. Forza will suck if it only support the MS wheel regardless of whose fault it is.
