Beni has made some significant progress with his Filipinetti X1/9, putting the modelled car into GT Legends. Below are first shots of the car at Mid Ohio, still missing some details like the Targa roof.
Powered by a 220hp four-cylinder engine, the Filipinetti X1/9 was the first race version of the legendary Fiat X1/9. Unveiled in Geneva in 1973, the car completed its first race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife shortly after.

Jessica, Darin & Shaun of InsideSimRacing.tv were recently joined by Image Space Incorporated's Gjon Camaj who visited the guys for an interview in an upcoming SRT episode. About a year ago, Team NLC announced a sucessor to their popular VLN 2005 mod for rFactor, planning to bring the 2009 season of Germany's popular racing series to the simulation. As promised, Codemasters have just released the first of their developer diary videos, introducing us to some of their staff and showing off first-ever moving footage of F1 2010 for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Markus & Valiante have released their Formula One 1985 mod for rFactor, bringing one of the most spectacular F1 seasons to the simulation. Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. Even though the track was slowed down with two chicanes during the 80s, speeds on the track remained very high thanks to the 1.5 kilometer main straght - The longest in motorsports. [nggallery ...

First of all thanks for the announcenment on VirtualR.net. I told Beni that i would like to do the ingame work for his really nice moddeled X1/9. The most interesting stuff were the pop-up-headlights which we know from the original GTL cars.
After a few experiments with the Porsche 914 i started the work on the Fiat. Let’s see how far we can go with GTL
