FIA GT3 for rFactor 2 – New Preview

A year ago, Team Apex Modding has released their FIA GT3 mod for rFactor. Since then, the team has been working on bringing an improved version of their mod to rFactor 2.

Below are new previews of their progress, showing the Corvette C6 GT3 in rFactor 2, sporting two different liveries.

The Corvette will meet competition from various cars, including the Audi R8 LMS, the Porsche 997 GT3 R and the Lamborghini Gallardo among others.

    A way around that is by implying the name/model of cars. Audix R08 instead of Audi R8, Crevette ZZ instead of Corvette and Lamb o’Ghini as oppose to… something like that.

    FIA GT3 Championship is now dead so I wouldn’t expect any actions from SRO. The problem with Porsche is that they are backing another sim-project with their official license.

    if you remove all brands i don’t think there’s a problem. But i’m not an expert.

    No, that is nowhere near sufficient. The shape has to differ from the protected design in at least 3 major ways.

    waiting for the propper shading/mapping of vehicles in rf2, by now it is far away behind rf1.

    which game would you say is the newer one looking at the cars? Car shading in rf2 is awfull and we have almost 1 year of beta testing and nothing has changed in the matter

    WOW, this is shocking; but “we’ll get what we get” Eventually this will be a good game, its still in Alpha Phase IMHO….! Feels very good though!
