Philcout has released his Ferrari Dino 246GT for rfactor, adding a classical Ferrari sportscar to the simulation.
Built between 1969 and 1974, the Dino was 2.4 liter V6 engine putting out 195hp. Exactly 3,761 Dinos were produced and sold, making it the first Ferrari model to be produced in high numbers.

Since the maker has given permission to use this. I hope it is added to the HistoryX and or CSGT1970 mods.

Not that I’ve seen released yet. Sham all this talent gets waisted duplicating the same stuff.

better 2 than 1 this also give us the chance to try a different Dino maybe a more real one. But Ferrari Challenge for my PS3 has got all the best Ferraris handling for gaming! Pity this modder didn’t release this mod in rfactorcentral as well that means less people will hear about his great work and less people will play this awesome mod!
Edit.: So I have to sign up in those forums to get to download this mod?? Thanks but no thanks!

Yep, the Dino it’s not available in the public version of HGT&TC mod, it’s a WIP, and i think we shown screenies of it in WIP stage a lot time a go (you can check our forum, but i think we post some at our RSC section, unless I’m mistaken).
You have to know that we weren’t aware that other modder was working to create a Dino. When I saw its first screenies at RFC we already had ours modeled, so was a bit late to start something we usually try to do: try to collaborate with other modders focused in historic cars.
We had said it before, but our list of cars is not based on what others are doing, as I’m afraid we’re so busy with our project that we don’t dedicate a lot of time to “scan” the modding scene. So, our list of cars is based just in our own preferences. We do an internal poll to decide which one will be next and that’s all. There’s no any intention of trying to replicate what others are doing.
Anyway, in the end the community will simply use the one they consider better. So even if we had such dark intentions what matters is the real quality of the car.
But this is going off topic, I’m afraid. Let’s leave this comments’ thread to this released dino :)
