Fanatec Teases New Mystery Product

Fanatec has released a teaser of a mysterious new product, can you identify what it is?

The teaser image shows various buttons on a very distinctive blue backplate, on the lower part of the image the Playstation logo seems to be visible, indicating at Playstation 4 compatibility.

Fanatec has long been rumored to work on a Playstation 4 compatible product after the company was forced to removed PS4 compatibility from their existing products in March 2016.

It looks like a replacement product is on the horizon, until we get more details everyone’s invited to guess in the comments!

Thomas claims it’s not a wheel, not a PS4 converter, and is a product that has ever been done before. Very intriguing! I’m using CronusMax to make my CSW v2 work with PS4 but I would prefer an official solution so hoping that a PS4 converter for my CSW is still a possibility.

I am just about to buy the CronusMax, are you satisfied with it?

      • Slim_Boy_Fat

Only had it a week or so but it’s worked well so far.

so I’m guessing the rumoured Direct drive wheel ended up to be the CSW 2.5 ?

    • PsyOp_Unit9

You’re guessing wrong, the announcement of Direct Drive wheel will happen alongside the unveil of Project Scorpio/Forza 7 in the upcoming E3 (June 11)

WOW thats some announcement, do you have any links per chance ?

      • PsyOp_Unit9

No, because it was an off the record, private conversation with a Fanatec guy (not thomas). it’s almost certain however that they’re going to reveal the DD wheel in E3

I know what it is. It’s a cappuccino machine. No wait. It’s a snow cone maker.
