Fanatec RennSport Cockpit V2 Unveiled

Fanatec has unveiled the second version of their high-end RennSport Cockpit.

The new version of the cockpit allows sim racers to build a rig tailored to their needs as buyers can pick from a variety of accessories to put their rig together.

Available Accessories 

-      a choice of 3 different seats: Fanatec RS, Sparco Pro 2000 and RS333
-      a sound holder for realistic sound effects and immersion
-      a shifter holder for a perfect driving position
-      a single and a triple monitor stand for visual immersion

The price for the base frame is 999 Euros/Dollars. Adding to that is one of three seats (the cheapest of which sells for 199 Euros/Dollars), a single or triple screen mount (249 Euros/Dollars) and other additional extras.

    Really like that, but I loved the original design as well.

    However the side shoulders look like they impede the view to the side monitors a little maybe ?

    I wanted to say the same thing, I can’t wait for it to finally come out. The V2 pedals are on my must-have list and I would imagine the shifter will be as well.

    This rig looks really nice!!

    But just look at that clubsport shifter, Its huge and looks so solid!! Cant wait to try it out!!

    Looks great but my DIY does the same thing for a fraction of the cost. I rather spend my dollars on my system.

    A handbreak from Fanatec which is to be released some time in the future will be a nice add on. Fanatec keep up the good work. Maybe I should reconsider your rig now despite Obutto Revolution being out there?

    it’s time for Fanatec to stop identical pricing in dollars and euros. Then they may become more tempting in the EU. Tired of his excuses about why it needs to be this way, too. Rest of the entire world manages it, but Fanatec just make excuses about shipping all the time.

    Ridiculous price. 999 for a base! Fitted with the cheapest seat,shiftholder and monitor stand you’re looking at 1500€/$.
    Obutto Revolution is slightly more versatile but also less eyecandy. But mainly you get it complete for about 700€/$ cheaper! If it was my choice, Obutto wins hands down!

    Wow does this mean the handbrake and shifter are going to come out soon? Does this mean the TH8 shifter is going to be a pile of cr@p? I cant wait! ^_^

    Do u own a TH8 shifter? Because why would it be crap compared to Fanatec? Its a very sollid piece of equipment. And if you own it and think its crap I think u are not that carefull with it (like running it over with a truck or something) or u have a bad build.

    You still haven’t understood that the price in dollars is before taxes ? And why do you care so much about the others ? Good for them if they have a better price ! (which is not the case anyways)
    Fanatec doesn’t need excuses, they are honest and transparent.
    Can you say the same from their big concurrents (Logitech, TM, …) ?
    Complain, complain, complain… Cry me a river, mate :)

    Enjoy life, it’s your choice and no one will do it for you !

    I do have it. In fact, I never said it was bad.. I’m just saying, is this NEW shifter going to be soo good that would make the TH8 look like cr@p? Think man think!! Sheesh… people just jump to inane conclusions these days you know? ^_^

    U can’t denie your post sounds a bit negative about the TH. It seems that u can’t wait to declare your TH a pile of cr@p. “This mean TH8 is going to be a pile of crap..”"Can’t wait…” Sorry but how can somebody read this as a positive comment about the TH.

    How do you know it will make the TH8 look like crap when you havent even used the Club Sport Shifter?

    I dont like the industrial look of the CSS and rather the look of the TH8 but if the CSS turns out to be better than the TH8 I will buy it if the price is right.
