    OK so whats ACL?  are we supposed to guess or is it assumed we all know?

    ACL = Auto Clutch

    It’s a macro that activates the Clutch button (when mapped to the wheel) at the same time as the paddle shifters

    Ok so I’ve had some issues with this update on my GT3RSV2 and I got on the phone to Fanatec who were very helpful.

    So… first issue was that when the wheel was switched on it didn’t centre correctly (even after re-calibration using the new buttons).   The wheel would end up 20-30degrees to the left, BUT in the profiler it would be correct in that when I moved my wheel to the centre, the slider on the profiler read ’0′.   So that was ok for driving.

    The other issue was that I could no longer map the paddles to gearshifts in pCARS.   They acknowledged this was a bug.   I dunno if it works with the h-shifter or sequential gears because I didh’t try it.

    Anyway the upshot is that I’m going back to the old profiler and firmware.

    They said they hope to have those issues sorted by next week.

     After seeing Cosmos’ post I asked them about ACL as I didn’t know either.  And yes StarFoXy is right, it’s an auto-clutch feature, but they said mainly for use in Forza 4 and not for us PC lot.

    Was this with the 125 or 126 drivers?  I see they quickly released 126 and noted known issues were fixed.  I am hesitant to try them out if this bug is still present in 126.  Thanks.

    Should work on PC though right?
    Once the final firmware version comes out for the GT2 I think I’ll test it out in rFactor. I couldn’t get the beta to take, I may try again later.

    Yes, same issue here. But ingame all is working like it should.

     This was with 126

     Yep wheel was centered in-game.  Also noticed a bit less steering resistance too.   I preferred it as it was with firmware 681 v2.1 and driver 116.

    So I’m flashed back to that now and all is good !

     I’m not sure.  The tech support guy said it was for Forza.   Be interesting to know if it works on our stuff though.

    Anyone tried this with pCARS on a CSR Elite by any chance ? Any tips for setup ?

    I’m not sure I want to update the firmware only to flash it back 15 minutes later. (firmware flashing used to be a chore on my system with the old GT2 and PWGT, lots of crashes and reboots needed.)
