Fanatec has released a new beta driver for their line of Porsche steering wheels.
The new PW 082 driver brings some interesting changes, such as rFactor support for the built-in display and support for the upcoming Clubsport pedals.
Changelog:
- Fixed bug with Autocentering in rFactor
- rFactor display support
- Added GT3RS and PWC menues
- CSP support
- Map vibration to the revs instead of Gas
- map vibration to indicate shifting point
Known Issues:
- 64 bit signature
- Vista problem: Game controller does not show axis or buttons when pressed
- shifting indicator not working properly

Thanks Montoya. Didn’t see this one on Fanatec website. And well I was already using that plugin for rF but an alpha version.

Very nice! Does anyone have any idea what kind of frames that the hud on the wheel will take? For some reason when I tired the first version, it took about %20 off my frame rate. If that’s normal, its a no-go, but if its better now, that’d be great!
Also, the new tweaks to the vibration motors sound sweet too ;D

These drivers are actually giving me a world of pain…
Awful at centering, can’t detect any rfactor installs, hard to get the Fanatec control panel, keeps giving me the windows one…
