Fanatec GT3 RS V2 – Firmware 756 Available

Following several other wheels, Fanatec has now made the firmware version 756 available for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS V2 wheel as well.

The new firmware is being released as Release Candidate version, the firmware works on Windows 8 as well.

Important: Make sure to use the new firmware with driver version 144 or higher and make sure to pay attention to the instructions at the download location.

    Working fine for me so far and so nice not to hear the fan constantly on any more.

    Do you play your sims on silent? because I can’t imagine the fan but that loud to hear it other wise.

    Of course I don’t play them on silent, that would be absurd !
    My fan can be loud when I switch the wheel on but quietens down when it heats up. Probably needs some oil. After a minute or so it is not anywhere near as loud enough to be a distraction. So considering my fan may not be operating at its correct decibel rating I am simply thankful that it now only comes on when it’s needed, and when it does so, no I cannot hear it over the sound of my sim blaring out of my 5.1 surround speakers.
