Fanatec CSL Seat Unveiled

Fanatec has unveiled a brand new product as the new CSL Seat will be available for pre-order starting next week!

While the CSL Seat isn’t Fanatec’s first cockpit solution, it’s much, much more affordable than their ultra high-tech Porsche Rennsport cockpit, selling for 299,95 Euros/Dollars.

Made of lightweight materials, the seat is fully adjustable and will come with changeable seat covers. The CSL seat is equipped to not just work with Fanatec’s own product line of wheels but also with competitor products from Thrustmaster and Fanatec.

This was previously sold as the Rhinoseat GTR, IIRC.

I thought exactly the same thing just as I saw it. AFAIK, the Rinoseats were great except for the shipping which usually became a nightmare. Also, if I’m not mistaken, it could’ve been bought with a screen support.

With no latest Fanatec products available in Australia and their lies that they were setting up a web shop and distribution center here for well over 2 years now, I am happy to now be free from my desire to purchase any of their latest and future products and have moved on to other satisfying brands of sim gear.

Your loss there then man, they are announcing new products including australian shipping in the next 2 weeks.

Even if they do get Aus. shipping, I still won’t purchase from fanatec as I feel I have purchased more superior and reliable products that have been functioning brilliantly for quite a while now, so no loss to me. lol.

Superior you say? I bet you spent well over $1,000 USD to do it. Well good on you but I’ll stick to my CSW/CSP’s and my former CSR all of which have been performing flawlessly.

My CSR Wheel and Elite Pedals have been working flawlessly for over a year now. So I don’t think I can ask for more in the reliability area. But I am curious what your super wheel and pedals are? because the Logitech isn’t superior and the Thrustmaster loses to the Clubsport Wheel.

I hear ya. Australians are second class citizens to Thomas. I was saving for a CSW which was supposed to be available in October last year, is still unavailable in Australia. Fanatec’s lies and disinterest in keeping customers has sent me elsewhere.

I’d like to see a review of the new seat. It looks the way that I can be interested in it.
