Looks cheap and nasty, however, probably won’t be cheap 😀

I wonder how similar the base is to the ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5 (I’m guessing it’s not quite that nice).

    • Richard Hessels

No, it’s just a CSL Elite with a slightly different firmware so it works on PS4.

      • Ahab

No, it is a CSL Elite Body with brand new electronics, improved wheel and a CSW V2.5 motor.
Just read the details on the fanatec blog.

I want this in the US so bad.

It would be an insta buy for me.

What Sony did to Fanatec users was something that at least I never forgive that to them. I use PS4, ok, play games as I do my XOne and PC. But there’s always will be bitter taste in my mouth. It’s sad that mean megacompanies can do whatever they like without punishment.

Peripheral companies need to license their hardware to consoles, this is nothing new, stop whinging.

      • Thomas Jackermeier

One of the most popular racing wheels on PS3 was never licensed 😉

        whing-ing..

        you don’t say…..

Yep I fell for the disposable console wheel trick once but never again, May 2011 I bought the recently released Fanatec Porsche GT2 wheel for Forza 4 and Gran Turismo 5, 18months later it became a hugely expensive doorstop when Microsoft drops Fanatec support for XboxOne and Sony drops Fanatec for PS4.

I’m wondering if it will be available as base only and if it’s compatible with PC.
