Following yesterday’s renders of the Toro Rosso STR4 model, part of the F1RFT 2009 mod for rFactor, here are first in-game previews of the Italian F1 race car.
Successor to F1RFT 2008, the 2009 version will focus on the current F1 championship season. The frist F1RFT mod gained popularity in the rFactor community for being the first complete F1 2008 mod available.

looks good, but dont be like other 2009 mods, take note of laptimes run this year…f1rl and others do horrible job simulating 09 season imo, as much as 6second laptimes faster than real at some tracks…GOOD LUCK f1rft team, looks promising…

True, but the final 3.1 version of RFT08 was much better, slightlyadjusted grip, etc. The model look s very good, far better than last years.

looks nice but that was the same in the past it says nothing about being legal in the past they were simply illegal.

Idont know about the legality controversy situation but I just downloaded this mod and I think it’s the best F1 09 mod yet, and physics feel pretty true.
