The makers of the F1RFT 2008 mod have released a new version of their 2008 Formula One mod for rFactor. The new version irons out many of the weaknesses I´ve pointed out in my review of the first version including fixed textures, better FPS performance and more. Those of you that have the previous version installed should make sure to delete it first before installing this version.
The mod also comes with the trackpack for the best 2008 Formula One experience possible – With just two races of the real-life season finished, this is still very remarkable.

It seems to be that the server is just overcrowded. I just clicked the link and it let me download fine without any password.
Seems to be a matter of luck. There is no other mirror I know off, if I find one i´ll add it in.

hi guy´s,
i´ve download it, and i hoped they fixed the tires…but it is´nt so…the tires are not in the right positions, looks self. in showroom is it ok, but not on the track.

@PaVel, what is wrong with them then? i don’t see a problem with the tires.
I like this mod a lot. Looks pretty good and the physics aren’t bad either.

u have to buy or download rfactor.
after that u have to install patch 1.250 or 1.255.

Can anyone here help me find/locate the START.EXE file whish is suppose to be included in the D/L. I do not have it in the utility folder as stated in the read me.

Yes it’s a great mod but suddenly I had a problem!
I just downloaded the track pack for f1rft 2008 and guess what… all of a sudden my AI screwed up and just began to ignore talent files, went totaly random on track…
I started another championship when I installed the trackpack, could this be the problem? Does anyone have this bug?
Please help me, it was so fine in singleplayer but now I can’t play anymore…
