I´m not really the biggest fan of this mod,but respect to RFT and even it´s maybe the easiest F1 Mod, Philipp Eng (the guy who won Formula BMW World Final last year and tested BMW Sauber F108 in december) said that you can´t really compare rFactor and reality but the RFT F1Car is closest to the real car.

This mod just needs an update-system, so that you actually can choose which updates you want to put onto the car! So you wont be driving with Ferraris hole in the nose in Australia ;)

I have to agree that this was/is one of the most played F-1 Nods by me all year. I love the older F-1 Mods, but really, I will never play the 2006/2007 mod most folks are working on. I do respect and appreciate their work, but to be honest, I will D/L but never play.

I think this mod looks great, plays very well, and is a blast to actually drive the F-1 Cars with updated additions as I watched this year.

I say more than "Hats off to them" THANK YOU for a Fantastic Mod during the actual season.

Aside: (My Soap Box Rant)
Nothing I dislike more tha seeing Previews of a Mod for months prior to its release, like we see many many here. Simply over hypes the mod, gets boring, and are usually not that news interesting. Just my 2 Cents. I don't mean that the work isn't appreicated, as it is, but the new images every other day, not my interest.

Thanks again to the F1RFT Team for their heard work and updat6ed Mod which gave many many gamers a thrill ride while following the 2008 Season.

Nice one.
I, for one, don't consider the mod bad at all. Maybe they've rushed it, but in my opinion, it doesn't really show. I think the mod is well done and with all the things a good F1 mod needs - graphically, I see the differences between the cars, all the right helmets and so on. And physics-wise, well, I haven't driven an F1 car in real life so I don't know how one handles, but it seems real enough to me.
Honestly, I don't get what people really have against this mod. Plus, it is the current F1 season which I'd much rather play with than one from the 2005 season. And it can't be that bad, considering its online popularity.
I agree, hats off to the modding team behind it.
