F1Ligue F1 2013 for rFactor 2 – First Lotus Previews

F1Ligue are once again the first to start on mods for the current (not even started) Formula One season.

While many teams haven’t even unveiled their cars yet, the guys have already started working on the virtual version of the Lotus E21.

The team has very ambitious goals as the mod is planned to be out in March, right in time for the start of the 2013 Formula One season.

    Model needs a lot of work.

    Front wing isnt even close, the tub is missing it’s 2 bumps, the sidepod with it’s tunnel is just wrong, and the rear wing isnt correct either.

    Also is it missing the panel above the sidepod front and the cut lean is clearly noticable

    …and it’s likely the cars will change a little at the first race too after they’ve done their testing.

    This is only a preview, you want to wait for the other photos F1Ligue before spending your time to spit on a job you are not able to do?

    Of course the body is to smooth and there are of course some mistakes, but hey:
    First screens of a mod that started few days ago – so its quite fine i think.
    Keep it up guys :)

    F1Racer, I find this comment shows a complete lack of respect to F1Ligue, it has no place on an honorable place like VR. I’ve been banned for much less…

    Pretty decent effort. Of course you have to make quality sacrifices when you want to put something together before Melbourne. But the car could benefit from some work on the normals / smoothing groups. I think spending one hour on that and the car would look 10x better.
    Looking forward to seeing more.

    There’s a lot of difference between a model that doesnt resemble it’s real life counterpart because of updates on the latter and a model that doesnt resemble it’s real life counterpart because the modeling is done quick and sloppy.
