Even though there have not been much news during the last year, Team Players have silently continued working on their two historic Formula One mods for rFactor.
A first version of F1 1955 has already been released in 2008, featuring the Mercedes Benz W196. The team has pretty much finished the streamliner version of that car as you can see below, with only a few physic tweaks left. The Ferrari 500, 555 and 625 models are on their way into the mod, giving the German car some good competition.
Another Ferrari can be seen below, belonging to the 1967 Formula One mod. That car is ready to get in game too and will soon be joined by the Honda RA300 which was driven by John Surtees.

For me, these are probably the most desirable mods for any simracing title available. Can’t wait to give them a try

The 55 F1 mod is pure quality, so I can’t wait for the 67 mod. Team Players is one of the elite modding groups for rFactor.

hopefully there will be some populated servers when these are released.. i know the GPL guys are pretty dedicated to just gpl, hopefully they will like this enough to play online so we can get some good racing servers
